Mark Vernon é um escritor, jornalista e autor inglês, anteriormente um sacerdote da Igreja da Inglaterra, sendo atualmente um pesquisador honorário do Birkbeck College, de Londres, e membro fundador da The School of Life.[1] Ele já escreveu livros sobre amizade, bem-estar, crença, ciência e sobre a filosofia do dia a dia. Seus artigos sobre temas religiosos, filosóficos e éticos já apareceram em muitas revistas e joranais. Vernon também é graduado em física, teologia e filosofia.[2]
